We’re excited to announcea special screening of the powerful documentary Hopeville, followed by an engaging panel discussion with community leaders and advocates. Filmmaker Harvey Hubbell V is a dyslexic learner who has experienced the challenges of traditional reading instruction. This documentary follows a group of diverse first-grade students in Waterbury, Connecticut, as they learn to read using a structured literacy approach. Please see the trailer for the film here.
