2014 SPRING EDITION NEWSLETTER

Dickson“Teachers have the power to impact learning and make a difference in the lives of all their students. If you are a teacher, join other colleagues across the world by becoming well-trained in a multisensory structured language education approach.” This quote is from our website, and how true it is!

The summer is a great time for teachers to receive new or additional training with multisensory structured language education (MSLE) approaches. NCBIDA offers partial scholarships for qualified summer programs, and now is the time to fill out a scholarship application. Learn all about the importance of multisensory structured language education on our website.

I’d like to welcome our four new members to our Board of Directors: Jessica Corrine, Mary Kay DiMaggio, John Santonastaso, and Andrea Shuel. They each bring their own unique experience to our board, along with their great enthusiasm. We are honored to have them join our team.

On April 5th we are pleased to have Jan Tuber present APPlications for the iPad in Education at Sacred Heart Preparatory High School in Atherton. As more and more apps become available, how do we choose the best ones? Jan will help us become app-savvy through her live demonstration of a variety of educational applications. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Frances Dickson
